Fire at Iowa City storage business under investigation
Fire damaged a cold-storage warehouse in southeastern Iowa City on Tuesday.
According to a city news release, a small fire in the ceiling between the first and second floors set off an alarm at Lineage Logistics, 2710 Highway 6 E., about 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The Iowa City Fire Department extinguished the blaze within 35 minutes of arrival, according to the release.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the extent of the damage is unknown, the release said.
