Fayette County releases names of Arlington fire victims

UPDATE: The names of the five people who died in a Jan. 24 fire near Arlington were released Thursday by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
They are Amanda Lynn Smith- Miller, 27, and her two children, Delacisey Seales, 4, and Isabella Miller, 1, all of Oelwein; Gil Raymond Stachar, 84, of Arlington, and James Dean McCain,30, of Arlington.
The victims, identified by the State Medical Examiner's Office in Ankeny, died in an early morning fire at 5094 F Ave. about four miles southwest of Arlington.
A fund has been established at an Oelwein bank for the families of the five people who died Friday in a house fire near Arlington.
Donations to the "Arlington Fire Victims' Fund" can be dropped off or mailed to Fidelity Bank, 201 S. Frederick Ave., Oelwein IA 50662.
