A Fairfax man was arrested Monday on charges that he sexually abused two minors multiple times over multiple years.
Jamie Dudley, 50, is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual abuse, four counts of third-degree sexual abuse, two counts of assault with intent to commit sex abuse, and two counts of lascivious conduct with a minor.
According to a criminal complaint, the two minors — ages 16 and 17 — reported to Linn County Sheriff’s Deputies on June 28 that Dudley had sexually abused them both multiple times, starting when the older child was 9 years old.
A warrant was issued for Dudley’s arrest on Nov. 7, and he was arrested Monday. He had his first appearance in court on Tuesday, and is being held in the Linn County Jail on a cash-only, $500,000 bond.
A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the victims.
