Coralville man accused of shooting woman with paintball gun
CORALVILLE - A Coralville man faces an assault charge after allegedly shooting a woman multiple times with a paintball gun.
According to a Coralville police criminal complaint, at about 6 p.m. May 26 near the 1900 block of Eighth Street in Coralville, 19-year-old James. E. Goods, III fired a paintball gun at a woman. The victim had multiple welts on her arms following the incident, police say.
Police say Goods was identified by the victim in a photo lineup and faces a serious misdemeanor for assault causing bodily injury.
