Complaint: Man cashed forged check for $2,700

A 41-year-old man is charged with forgery after he allegedly cashed a fraudulent check over the weekend for more than $2,700.
According to the criminal complaint, investigators determined Wayne R. Canterbury cashed a forged check for $2,760 from the account of Modern Piping on Nov. 2 at Wells Fargo at 340 Seventh Ave. in Marion.
Canterbury faces a charge of Forgery, a Class D felony.
