Complaint: Dubuque teen allegedly shot at occupied car in Cedar Rapids at least 7 times
18-year-old faces several charges in August shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS — Police arrested a Dubuque teen over the weekend in connection with a shooting that occurred last month in northeast Cedar Rapids.
Timothy D. Christmas III, 18, faces charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, use of a dangerous weapon in commission of a crime and persons ineligible to carry a dangerous weapon.
According to the criminal complaint, the charges stem from a shooting that occurred Aug. 26 near 12th Street and I Avenue NE. Authorities said Christmas fired a handgun at least seven times at a vehicle that was occupied by three people.
The criminal complaint does not specify whether anyone was injured.
The complaint states that two of the witnesses identified Christmas as the shooter, and a Glock 22 handgun was found in his possession.
