It was bound to happen eventually.
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities is forecasting likely snowfall starting Thursday night and heading into Friday, with snow accumulation, 'of around an inch possible.” The forecast calls for the chance of snow still to remain on Friday until the evening, with calmer and warmer weather returning over the weekend.
Although the snowfall totals will likely not be overwhelming this go-around, the Iowa Department of Transportation has indicated that it will be mobilizing its crews over the next few days.
