Child endangerment suspect Laufenberg to remain in custody without bond
A Dubuque County Judge ruled to keep a Monona man behind bars without bond.
Dubuque police arrested Troy Laufenberg, 21, on Saturday night, after investigators had searched for him for more than a month.
He faces child endangerment and drug charges in Clayton County, where he is accused of severely injuring 18-month-old Myah Larson in July. Doctors say the Monona girl suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
In Dubuque County District Court Tuesday morning, Laufenberg appeared on charges of probation violation. He agreed to waive his right for extradition.
