Cedar Rapids police investigate report of shots fired
CEDAR RAPIDS - Officers responded Wednesday evening for a report of shots fired on the southwest side.
Police say the report came in at 7:03 p.m. in the area of Third Avenue and 13th Street SW. The person who called 911 told dispatchers people involved ran from a vehicle.
Investigators then searched the area with the help of a K9 from the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Officers had not located any suspects as of 8:30 p.m., according to a release from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
No injuries were reported.
