Cedar Rapids man receives life threatening injuries in motorcycle crash

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man was airlifted to University of Iowa hospitals with life threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle.
Ontario Deshawn Taylor, 21, was driving his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he lost control and struck a guard rail while exiting Highway 13 southbound onto Highway 30 eastbound, just before 8:30 Tuesday night. Taylor was wearing a helmet at the time and was the only person on the motorcycle, according to a media release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
The crash remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office, according to the release.
The Lisbon Police Department, LifeGuard Air Ambulance and Linn County and Mount Vernon first responders all responded to the crash.
