Cedar Rapids man allegedly stole motorcycles, leaf blower

A Cedar Rapids man face theft charges after police allegedly found several stolen items in his pissession at a residence in the 3300 block of Iris Avenue NW.
According to the criminal complaint, Logan M. Toomer, 28, allegedly stole two motorcycles and a leaf blower between Oct. 28 and Jan. 2.
The complaint states Cedar Rapids officers were dispatched to the Iris Avenue residence Thursday where they found the stolen items.
Witnesses told police they had seen Toomer riding the stolen motorcycles or heard him talk about them, according to the complaint.
Toomer was taken into custody and faces two counts of second-degree theft, a Class D felony, and one count of third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor.
