CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids man faces charges after it was alleged that he had sexually abused a girl under the age of 12 multiple times over the course of three years.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police that between April 1, 2015, and April 1, 2018, Xzavier J. Hoofnagle, 21, had subjected her to sex acts multiple times at locations in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
While questioning Hoofnagle, investigators said he admitted to having some sexual contact with the girl, but “would not admit to the full range of sexual contact as alleged by the victim,” the complaint states.
Hoofnagle faces two counts of second-degree sexual abuse.
