Body found in vehicle in wooded area near Interstate 380
CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Rapids police are investigating a body found Thursday morning in a vehicle near Interstate 380.
The body of a man, believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age, was found in a wooded area off northbound Interstate 380 north of 76th Avenue SW, according to a news release.
Police and firefighters were dispatched to a possible crash in that area at 9:41 a.m.
A property owner found the vehicle with a body inside, the news release said.
No other information was available Thursday.
