At least three mobile homes total loss in Hiawatha blaze
Hiawatha firefighters were called to a fire at a mobile home on Chickadee Lane in Hiawatha around 2:15 a.m.
By the time the Fire Department arrived at the scene at the Tower Terrace Mobile Home Park, the fire had spread to three homes. Before it could be contained, the fire spread to two more homes.
Officials on the scene said three of the mobile homes are a complete loss. They are not certain how bad the damages at the other two homes are.
There were no injuries in the fires. A cause is still under investigation.
