33-year-old woman allegedly stole truck from dealership in southwest Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS - A 33-year-old woman was arrested after being spotted driving a vehicle that was stolen from a used car dealership in Cedar Rapids, police said.
Officers observed a red and tan Ford F150 traveling on 15th Street SE at 6:30 p.m. June 5.
The vehicle matched the description of one reported stolen the day before from CarHop, 1808 16th Ave. SW, according to the criminal complaint,
Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Third Street SE. The driver, Shannel A. Mayfield-Knox, of Cedar Rapids, admitted she had taken the vehicle from the CarHop lot, according to the complaint.
Police determined her license had been barred Jan. 20.
Mayfield-Knox faces charges of first-degree theft and driving while barred.
