15-year-old killed in Johnson County car crash

A 15-year-old girl was killed in a car crash south of Iowa City Sunday morning, according to an Iowa State Patrol report.
Brittany Hochstetler, of Grabill, Ind. was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the two-car collision. The report said Hochstetler was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Three others were injured in the crash and were transported to UIHC by ambulance.
The report said Hochstetler was a passenger in a car driven by 17-year-old Teresa Miller of Wellman. Miller was driving northbound on Highway 1 at 1:05 a.m. Sunday when her car collided with a car driven by 27-year-old Jeffrey Bulechek of Iowa City, which was traveling eastbound on 520th Street. Both vehicles rolled and ended up in the ditch, records show.
The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
