$10,000 reward being offered as CRPD seeks public help in finding stolen tools and the people who stole them

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is looking for thousands of dollars worth of stolen tools, and the people who stole them.
And in this investigation, there's a monetary reward involved.
According to a department media release, the CRPD is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying 'several theft suspects involved in stealing thousands of dollars in tools from a business in southwest Cedar Rapids.” The three individuals that the police suspect in the crime reportedly stole tools and equipment from inside the building, as well as tools from a Snap-On Tools truck that was parked outside in the garage area. Police say the burglary took place between 3:30 and 4 a.m. on Friday, May 18.
Snap-On Tools is offering a $10,0000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the three suspects.
Police are encouraging individuals who can identify the suspects in the surveillance photographs to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5409 or Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463). Texting information is also possible by texting CRIMES (274637) and in the message/subject, typing 5227 and your tip. The tipster can continue to trade information with an investigator, and then can text STOP to opt out at any time. The reference number for this case is #2018-07379.
