Three people seriously injured after crash near West Branch
A driver traveling in the wrong direction crashed into four vehicles Sunday night

Three people sustained serious or life-threatening injuries after a wrong-way crash Sunday night near West Branch in Johnson County, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.
The crash happened at just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday, at mile marker 252 of Interstate 80, west of West Branch.
According to the crash report, someone was driving a 2025 Nissan Altima east in the westbound lanes on I-80 and crashed into four different westbound vehicles, causing three people to sustain serious or life-threatening injuries.
The names of drivers or those who were injured have not been released as of Monday morning.
