The Cedar Rapids Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash Friday on First Avenue.

An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital last week after he fell out of a moving vehicle in Buchanan County, according to a news release from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.

A Lisbon man was taken by emergency helicopter to the hospital Friday morning after his motorcycle collided with a Subaru on Highway 100, according to a news release from the Marion Police Department.

The crash, involving a car and a motorcycle, occurred around 8:47 p.m. Friday.

Five people — include several children — were injured on Highway 1 in Washington Thursday morning when “large equipment” fell off a semi trailer and hit a car near a railroad overpass on the west side of town.

A 13-year-old who died last week in a UTV crash has been identified by the Iowa State Patrol.

The crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. Friday in rural Guernsey.

Crash happened as lane was closed in Pottawattamie County.

The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m., near Linn Aire Avenue.
