A Hopkinton man has died from injuries he sustained earlier this month when his car crashed, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of a man who died Wednesday in a crash near Palo -- Rodney Dean Boren, 65, of Cedar Rapids.

A 72-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after he was hit by a car while walking Wednesday morning in southeast Cedar Rapids, according to a Facebook post from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
