A man who was killed in a crash Tuesday morning in Linn County has been identified by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office as David Dickson, 50, of Marion.

One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash at the intersection of County Home Road and North 10th Street, just north of Marion, according to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

An Iowa National Guard soldier who was three weeks away from retirement has died, after being hit by a car in Iowa City on May 22.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating a Sunday morning crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist — 28-year-old Felicia Tharp, of Coralville — according to a news release from the department.

Crash happened on Iowa City’s east side.

The man was unresponsive and immediately transported to UI hospital by helicopter.
