One dead in Fayette County crash

One person is dead after a crash Monday in rural Fayette County, according to the Iowa State Patrol.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Monday at the uncontrolled gravel intersection of X Avenue and 240th Street in rural Fayette County.
A 2000 Chevrolet S10, driving south on X Avenue, and a 2007 Ford Edge, driving west on 240th Street, collided at the intersection, according to a crash report. The driver of the Chevy, Joshua Lee Quail, 41, died at the scene, the report states.
The other driver, Diana Lynn Mohlis, 58, had minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, according to the report.
