Linn County tow ban lifted

UPDATE: The tow ban issued Monday morning for Linn County secondary roads has been lifted, the Linn County Sheriff's Office said Monday afternoon.
The tow ban was implemented as of 8:37 a.m. Monday as light snow fell across the area, according to Linn County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Harvey Hall. It was lifted just after 2 p.m.
Icy road conditions in rural areas of the county led to at least two accidents Monday, sheriff's officials said.
