Crash with train near Fairfax kills two in vehicle
Both people killed were Cedar Rapids residents

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people who died Sunday afternoon when their vehicle was struck by a train near Fairfax.
The driver, 42-year-old Jason Williams, and his passenger, 44-year-old Amber Wisted, were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were Cedar Rapids residents.
About 4:15 p.m., a Union Pacific train was traveling east and the vehicle was traveling south at the crossing. No one else was in the vehicle.
