Cedar Rapids police pursuit ends with motorcycle vs. bus crash

CEDAR RAPIDS — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday afternoon after crashing into a bus near the intersection in northwest Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids police had tried to pull over the motorcyclist and a short pursuit ensued, ending with the crash at O Avenue and Ellis Boulevard NW, according to Cedar Rapids police.
The motorcyclist was injured, but authorities did not say Wednesday how severe the injuries are.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation. No additional information about the crash or the police pursuit has been released.
