76-year-old cyclist killed in Fayette County crash

A 76-year-old man died Sunday when he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle in Fayette County, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.
Ronald Saboe, 76, of West Union, was biking south, toward West Union, on Juniper Road at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday. He was hit just south of Kitty Road by a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country that was also traveling south.
Saboe died on scene. The driver of the Town & Country — Steven Steinbert, 72, of Ossian, was not injured, according to the crash report.
