The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating an apparent armed robbery.
At 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, the alleged victim, a 20-year-old man, said he met with two subjects in the 4000 block of Wilson Avenue to sell $660 worth of electronics. Rather than pay for the items, police said one of the two subjects pulled a gun on the man and fled with the electronics. The man was not hurt in the robbery.
The two suspects are described as black men, 16 to 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and with thin builds. They were wearing hooded sweat shirts, police said.
