Oct. 31, 2017 5:30 pm, Updated: Jan. 10, 2022 2:40 pm
Iowa employers are facing tough competition for employees and changing desires of millennial workers -- who are now the largest generation in the workforce. This has led many to place an increased emphasis on workplace culture, mission and values.
At Iowa Ideas 2017, September 20-22, panelists from both large and small companies shared ideas on the role of mission and values at work, how to create a mission-driven workplace and how to evaluate culture initiatives.
This session was part of Workplace (R)evolution, which joined Iowa Ideas in 2017 as a special track focused on culture and the future of work.
Panelists included:
Jeff Miller, Chief Technology and Distribution Officer at Van Meter
Christine Sullivan, Director of Human Resources at the ESCO Grou
Leah Rodenberg, Senior Program Manager at the Alliant Energy Foundation
Kayla Grunder, UX Designer at Visual Logic
Moderator: Jennifer Daly, President and CEO of the Iowa's Creative Corridor Development Corporation
