Together We Achieve’s next food box giveaway is Sunday
Volunteers still needed to prepare boxes this week, help with distribution event
CEDAR RAPIDS — Together We Achieve’s next drive through food box giveaway event is scheduled for Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jefferson High School, 1243 20th St. SW, Cedar Rapids. This is a first-come, first-served event and no registration is required. Because of ongoing pandemic precautions, please be prepared to wait in your cars patiently and maintain physical distance.
Calling for Volunteers
Volunteers are needed for food box assembly, which is taking place on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At the Sunday distribution event, volunteers are needed from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for loading boxes into vehicles, cleanup/hauling and traffic control.
