The Iowa Children’s Museum invites community members to join in its annual celebration of young children, the Week of the Young Child, from April 10 to 16. This weeklong event is a celebration of early learning, young children and their communities. Each day, The Iowa Children’s Museum and other community organizations will have a new, themed activity for children and families to enjoy together.
“We know that children learn, discover and grow through the power of play,” said Marie Hassel, ChildServe Director of Eastern Iowa and Week of the Young Child Co-Chair. “We are pleased to offer a variety of activities throughout the week, virtually this year, that encourage children and families to learn new skills and connect with one another through a series of interactive activities.”
Activity Theme and Schedule
