Pumpkinfest in the Amana Colonies is this weekend

AMANA — Pumpkinfest in the Amana Colonies takes place this weekend as part of its Autumn in the Amana Colonies celebrations.

Find everything imaginable that’s pumpkin-related on Saturday and Sunday in the Amana Colonies. Many of its shops have arranged for special pumpkin items for the weekend. There also will be pumpkin games and contests, from a pumpkin throwing contest to a pumpkin decorating competition. Bring your decorated and carved pumpkin for a chance to win, or paint your own pumpkin while in Amana.

Local restaurants will be offering pumpkin-themed items along with fall favorites. There will be a scavenger hunt, games to play and contests to enter, along with pumpkins for sale.
