Party in the Park returns to Iowa City for 2018

IOWA CITY - Connect with friends, family and neighbors this summer at Party in the Park, beginning from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today and continuing Thursdays through August, then switching to 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays in September. Admission is free and open to the public.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy live music, games, arts and crafts and frozen treats. Several dates will feature the Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre at 5:30 p.m. The Iowa City Public Library Bookmobile also will be on hand, as well as representatives from various City departments, sharing information about their areas of expertise.

The series is presented by the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department and the Neighborhood Outreach Division.
