Camp Courageous will begin registration for its American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim lessons starting Tuesday at 8 a.m. The first swim lessons session is scheduled to start on March 7.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for Juvenile Justice and Youth Development (JJYD) programming for the FY23 – FY25 grant cycle. Up to $400,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally-responsive youth development and delinquency prevention services to Johnson County youth 10 to 16 years of age.

The Marion Civil Rights Commission (MCRC) is currently accepting applications for the Marion Low & Moderate Income Housing Assistance Grant to be awarded this year. The grant will help non-profits, charitable organizations or other entities interested in assisting low-and-moderate income individuals with programs that address housing instability in the community.
