UAY’s biggest fundraising event, the Festival of Flowers, seeks to raise $50,000 to support programming like Spark, as well as the Young Parent Program, health education and downtown Youth Center. The event is Thursday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Reservations cost $50 and are available online.

The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation announces its second grant cycle for 2022 for local charitable nonprofits. Applications will be accepted through July 1 at 4:30 p.m. Grants will be awarded to organizations that enhance the quality of life in Linn County. The foundation recently approve more than $4.8 million in grants.
