Ethan Prentice, a senior at Xavier High School, said he was motivated by wanting to help people and “our community.” The work was his Eagle Scout project.

The Cedar Rapids-based team beat four other teams, including the Muskego (Wisconsin) Water Bugs by four points out of more than 1,300 points awarded.
