National Gay Pilots Association to host ‘aviation block party’ Sunday at Eastern Iowa Airport
CEDAR RAPIDS — The National Gay Pilots Association will be hosting “Wings over Iowa,” an “aviation block party” on Sunday at The Eastern Iowa Airport. At this event, youth and the local community are invited to get up close and personal with members and their aircraft. Aviation exhibits, live music, food trucks and some local vendors will be on hand.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UPS area of Eastern Iowa Airport, 3725 Beech Way SW, Cedar Rapids.
Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.
