Marion is looking for its residents’ best holiday light shows
Deadline to include your display on the tour is 4 p.m. Monday
The city of Marion and Marion Parks and Recreation are encouraging residents to get into the festive spirit by decking their homes and yards for the holidays. Decorators are invited to submit the address of their holiday light displays in Marion so that others also can enjoy the beauty.
To encourage participation, a total of $500 in prizes will be awarded to five winners. Judges will determine the winners in four categories and a People’s Choice award recipient will be selected by the community through online voting.
Submit your address via the form at cityofmarion.org/holidaylights by 4 p.m. Monday. A map/listing will be published and available at the same URL by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
