Linn County Seeks Historic Preservation Commission Member

LINN COUNTY — The Linn County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications to fill a voluntary appointment on the Historic Preservation Commission. This is a three-year term.
Members of the Historic Preservation Commission provide for the recognition and promotion of historic sites and historic preservation. Members possess interest or expertise in architecture, architectural history, historic preservation, planning, building rehabilitation, conservation in general, or real estate. This commission also promotes and conducts an educational and interpretive program on historic properties within its jurisdiction.
Applicants must be residents of Linn County and may submit an online application available on the Linn County website at LinnCounty.org or call (319) 892-5130 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to receive an application via email or mail.
