Learn the Olympic sport of curling with Cedar Rapids club

With the Winter Olympics in progress, Cedar Rapids Curling invites the public to learn about and participate in one of the Olympic sports here in Eastern Iowa.
Cedar Rapids Curling will offer public learn-to-curl events at Imon Ice, 1100 Rockford Rd. SW, at the following times:
• 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 15
• 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 22
• 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26
• 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 1
• 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 5
• 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 8
There also will be a minicamp on March 15, 22 and 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Cedar Rapids Curling also has a curling league for those who are interested.
