Learn some of the history of using feathers in art. Take a close look at a few different painted feather styles and learn about the ins-and-outs of using feathers as a canvas. Then try your artistic skills as you paint a turkey feather to take home.
Join the Jones County Naturalist on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Central Park Nature Center. Feathers and paint will be provided. All ages welcome to attend.
