Izaak Walton League in Vinton hosting outdoor activities day Saturday
The Red Cedar chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America in Vinton will host an outdoor activities day on Saturday.
Sportsmans Day begins at 8:30 a.m. with activities for kids, including a campsite setup for demonstration, scavenger hunt, nerd gun range, archery, nature walk and more. Events for adults will begin at 10:30 a.m. and include ax throwing, a .22 shoot, trap instructionals and a public trap shoot to end the day. Food also will be available.
The Izaak Walton League Red Cedar Chapter is two miles north of Vinton on HIghway 150. More information is at Facebook.com/iwla.rcc.
