Iowa Masonic Library and Museums to reopen on May 3
Tours and research sessions available by appointment

The Iowa Masonic Library and Museums will reopen to the public on May 3. The Library and Museums have been closed since November 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The museums will be open for tours Monday through Thursday by appointment only at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Please call (319) 365-1438 for an appointment, or email bill.kreuger@gl-iowa.org
Researchers also must call or email to make an appointment to access the library collections.
Tour groups will be limited to no more than five per appointment and visitors will be required to wear a mask while in the building; disposable masks will be available for those without one. Temperatures will be taken when visitors enter the building and hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the building.
A new temporary exhibition, entitled “China Memories,” will be open to visitors. This exhibition includes newly collected materials as well as materials from the Oriental collection of the Museums.
