Iowa City seeks input on community garden program with survey
The Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department is asking for public input as it looks at ways to improve its community garden plot program and has set up an online survey.
Share thoughts, ideas, and feedback about your own experiences with the community garden plot rental program or what you would like to see available in the program. Participate in the online survey by visiting the link at icgov.org/GardenPlots. The survey will be open through Jan. 1.
Community garden plots are available for rent from April through October. Rental prices are dependent on plot size.
Community gardens are located in the following city parks:
• Chadek Green Park, 1920 Friendship St.
• Kiwanis Park, 1519 Teg Dr.
• Reno Street Park, 516 Reno St.
• Wetherby Park, 2400 Taylor Dr.
