Hear about brothers’ adventures canoeing the Mississippi River this Sunday

Brothers Mark and John Wagner of Dubuque began canoeing the Mississippi River headwaters for about a week each year beginning in 2016. Mark Wagner will present about their journey from Lake Itasca in Minnesota to Dubuque on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Hurstville Interpretive Center, Maquoketa.
Mark Wagner is a retired naturalist and former Director of Education for the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque. The photographs and stories he will share of their canoe adventure will give participants an experience of the river's long meandering journey before it reaches Eastern Iowa.
