Community healing event planned for Anamosa

ANAMOSA — Traumatic events, like the recent occurrence at the Anamosa State Penitentiary, can have an emotional impact on individuals, families, and the community.

Abbe Community Mental Health invites members of the impacted communities to learn about the effects of secondary trauma, signs that you or someone you love may need more support and ways the community can begin healing. Additional counselors will be available at the event for individuals who may want to talk privately. Masking and social distancing will be required of attendees.
