Cedar Rapids woman’s quilt featured in national contest this week
Sherril Harris of Cedar Rapids is a semifinalist for the 2022 American Quilter’s Society’s Quiltweek event, which takes place this week in Daytona Beach. Fla.
Harris has been chosen to display her quilt, “Squared Ornaments,” in this contest, along with 240 other entries from 37 states and 14 countries. The contest has several awards, including Best of Show, which includes a $10,000 prize. The event is expected to draw more than 15,000 people.
