Best Bets: Noelridge Easter Showcase

Spring has been gloomy so far, but Easter is blooming with thousands of new plantings inside the greenhouse at Noelridge Park. Visitors can follow the bunny trail through a kaleidoscope of blossoms and greenery, as well as demonstrations and exhibits by the Eastern Iowa Aquarium Association and the Harshbarger Hosta Society. Admission is free, but bring a little green to take home houseplants, honey, handcrafted jewelry and pressed-flower greeting cards. The first 500 children ages 12 and under will receive a free plant to take home. So hippity hop on over for a fresh breath of spring.
