Twisters shine at 2 events

Reese Wilson, Elise Smith, Megan Hendrickson, Gabriella Schroud and Bree Lewis of Twisters Gymnastic won titles at the Judges Cup last weekend in Hiawatha.

Wilson won the floor exercise and bars in Level 3, Smith the vault, bars and all-around in Level 4, and Schroud the floor and Lewis the beam and all-around in Level 5.

Other Level 3 placewinners were Kiera Zwack, Aubrey Gilliland, Victoria Barbieri, Peyton Krotz, Adria Knudson, Corrin Williams and Amera Nakuritimana. Lacy Neighbor, Reese Miller, Emily Crumbo and Carlie Mather were placewinners in Level 4, and Leah Hendrickson, Tatum Burnhardt, Taylor Peterson, Anna Penning and Aliyah Burtis placed in Level 5.

Wilson won four events at the Glitz, Glam and Flip in Waterloo, taking the bars, beam, floor and all around in Level 3. Smith also won four events (bars, beam, floor, all-around), in Level 4.

Other winners were Victoria Barbieri (beam), Knudson (bars) and Serena Rupert (vault, all-around) in Level 3, Crumbo (vault, floor, all-around), Miller (bars), Peyton Sands (vault, floor, all-around), Maher (bars, beam) and Ashley Grice (vault) in Level 4, and Hendrickson (vault, bars, all-around), Peterson (floor, all-around) and Burnhardt (bars) in Level 5).

Other placewinners were Gilliland, Sydney Cira-Debban, Krotz, Kylie Link and Kalli Wistrick in Level 3, Sophia Barbieri, Neighbor and Alexis Wheeler in Level 4, and Riley Kalous and Samantha Triplett in Level 5.

Zaugg, Winterowd shine for CRAG

HIAWATHA - Grace Zaugg in Level 4 and Lilly Winterowd in Level 5 won three events each for the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics at the Judge's Cup.

Zaugg won the vault, floor exercise and all-around, Winterowd the vault, beam and all-around.

Other winners were Brook Glasbrenner (vault, all-around), Lexie Goldsmith (floor), Shea Johnson (bars), Madilyn Tumilty (bars) and Anna Weaver (vault, beam) in Level 3, and Caitlin Conner (beam), Riley Smith (vault, all-around) and Sophia Wilbanks (floor) in Level 4.

Placewinners were Ava Andrews, Jaeden Humpries, Autumn Poston in Level 3, Jenna Carney, Sidney Davidson, Kori Lyle in Level 4, and Kayla Hahn in Level 5.
