Others include B.J. Happy birthday -- Iowa freshman linebacker James Morris, who turns 19 on Saturday, is the only Hawkeye with a birthday this week. He ranks fi fth on the team in tackles (46). Morris amassed a personal-best 13 tackles, including sack.
Lots of 2:30 this season -- Saturday will mark Iowa's fi fth appearance of the season on ABC-TV in the 2:30 p.m. CT time slot. The Hawkeyes also hosted Penn State in an ESPN primetime telecast.
DJK -- Senior WR Derrell Johnson-Koulianos had a 70-yard scoring reception in the third period, the longest reception of his career. He is Iowa's career leader in receptions and yards and is tied for third with 16 scoring catches. He ended the game with five receptions for 104 yards and a score.

Bowl victories -- With five bowl victories, Kirk Ferentz ranks fi fth all-time among Big Ten Conference coaches in bowl wins. Four of Iowa's fi ve bowl wins under Coach Kirk Ferentz have been in January. Under Ferentz, the Hawkeyes have bowl wins over teams from the Southeastern (three), Big 12 and Atlantic Coast conferences.
Continuity -- Iowa is one of 11 Division I programs to have the same full-time coaching staff for a third straight year or more in 2010. The others include Baylor, Indiana, Navy, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Penn State, Alabama-Birmingham, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
