Hope that headline got your attention. I'm joking, of course.
This really is a big thank you card to all of you who have contributed content in our push for community contributors. The response so far has been wonderful, getting stories from cyclist, bird watchers, runners and many more.
If you are unfamiliar with what we are doing, in a nutshell we want your stories, about the games you play, the sports and activities your love. It could be on your neighbor, you parents, siblings or children. Throw me an idea and we can talk about it.
I am going to start throwing out some ideas here and in The Gazette for the summer, hoping to reach even more would-be or wannabe journalists and storytellers. Because, as you know, in this fast-paced world, it's always "what have you done for me lately."
My first installment of ideas concerns cycling.
May is National Bike Month, with May 14-18 designated as Ride Your Bike to Work Week. Let me know your cycling stories - from tips to keep your bike running properly, to adventures you've had on two wheels to features on folks to race or ride their bikes everywhere.
There's also a little bike ride called RAGBRAI coming through Cedar Rapids and much of Eastern Iowa. Are you riding, training for it. Tell me about it.
Thanks for reading and, as always, what's your story?
May is National Bike Month, something these cyclists in Beijing don't need. What is your cycling story? (AP file photo)
